About us

Hi, I’m Steve, and my family and I operate Amazing Clean South-East Queensland. We joined the group in 2024, when we purchased the Amazing Clean Franchises in Brisbane, and on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. We have a dedicated and experienced team who help us to service this rapidly growing part of Australia. Our territory stretches from Noosa to Tweed Heads, so we successfully complete a substantial number of jobs each day, and have done thousands of them since we started. My wife Katarina and I have an extensive business background, having owned and operated service industry businesses in Sydney and Canberra. We moved to Queensland as we felt it was the best place to raise our children. I love working with people, and being part of a professional organisation, so Amazing Clean is a perfect fit. It’s great to be part of a team that has been operating in Australia for 30 years!

Last week, one of our experienced technicians, gave some blinds in Buderim an “Amazing Makeover”. The owner of the lucky blinds called Amazing Clean and explained that they had a houseful of blinds in dire need of some “TLC”. They added, rather sheepishly, that one of the blinds was lying in a forlorn heap at the base of the window, after the owner had a go at giving it a “DIY” clean. “Not a problem” we reassured them, “That happens all the time. Cleaning a blind properly is seldom as simple as it first seems.” Without further ado went to do a free inspection and quote. The owner readily accepted our quote and the blinds were carefully removed and whisked away to our custom designed workshop, for the transformative cleaning process that Amazing Clean is famous for. Shortly afterwards the clean and fresh blinds were returned and remounted – Happy Customer and Happy Blinds! That’s Amazing!

“How long will it take to clean my window coverings?”

Generally smaller residential jobs can be done in a day or two, while larger or commercial jobs may take a bit longer.

“Do you clean onsite or take the window coverings away?”

Most window coverings that require cleaning will be contaminated with mould and/or sticky cooking residue.

A light dust and rinse onsite is unlikely to get rid of this type of dirt, which is why we take the coverings down and clean them offsite in our purpose-made facility.

This also allows us to carry out any minor repairs that are required.

“How often should window coverings be cleaned?”

Window coverings in low impact residential environments would benefit from cleaning every couple of years.

If located in more demanding environments such as kitchens or areas near traffic or with pets, they may need attention more frequently.

“Are your cleaning products safe for pets and children?”

By using specialised equipment and procedures, we are able minimise the use of chemicals in our cleaning process.

Any chemicals that are used are household grade, are highly diluted, and the rinsing process should eliminate any residue.

“Do you offer discounts for larger jobs?”

Yes, we do!

"What type of window coverings can you clean?"

We can tackle most types of window coverings for example roman blinds, venetian blinds, honeycomb blinds, roller blinds, smaller awnings and shutters, and of course curtains.

(In some instances, your local technician may not have the facilities to do all of these - we will let you know when you contact us if that is the case)

"Why should window coverings be cleaned?"

Apart from looking better, freshly cleaned window coverings are less likely to harbour allergens and other nasties, that may have an impact on your health and wellbeing.

There may be someone out there who will drop in to your premises and give your blinds a quick vacuum and rub down for less than we would charge to do a more thorough job, but the results will not be the same.
