About us

Allow us to introduce ourselves: We are David and Bernadette, and we operate the Amazing Clean Rockingham Franchise, servicing Rockingham, Port Kennedy and surrounding areas. We are experts in removing household grime, mould, nicotine and dust from window furnishings and upholstery. All these contaminants are gently, yet thoroughly, removed leaving upholstery, blinds and curtains as clean as the day they were first installed. No harsh chemicals, No scrubbing, just state-of-the-art technology and methodology. Blinds are cleaned and repaired usually on the same day but can be stored for later pick-up if need be if you are renovating or painting and cannot re-install them just yet. In many cases we arrive in the morning, take down the blinds and process them at the Rockingham factory before returning to rehang them, clean and dry, that same afternoon back to you (same day service is dependent on factors such as weather conditions and workload) We have been part of Amazing Clean since 2014 – that’s well over 10 years of experience and thousands of jobs successfully completed. We can tackle residential homes and much bigger jobs such as entire hotels. We love the confidence that comes with that level of experience and so do our customers.

Let’s face it, covid was a nightmare for most of us. It brought challenges with it that we had never had to face before. A good of example of that was the “big hotel sanitisation” We had cleaned hotel room window coverings before, but on this occasion, we were called upon to clean the curtains in every room in a large hotel in the aftermath of covid. After meeting with the Hotel management we decided the best approach was not to take the curtains away for cleaning at our factory, but to set up a cleaning station at the Hotel itself.

“How long will it take to clean my window coverings?”
Generally smaller residential jobs can be done in a day or two, while larger or commercial jobs may take a bit longer.
 
“Do you clean onsite or take the window coverings away?”
Most window coverings that require cleaning will be contaminated with mould and/or sticky cooking residue.
A light dust and rinse onsite is unlikely to get rid of this type of dirt, which is why we take the coverings down and clean them offsite in our purpose-made facility.
This also allows us to carry out any minor repairs that are required.
 
“How often should window coverings be cleaned?”
Window coverings in low impact residential environments would benefit from cleaning every couple of years.
If located in more demanding environments such as kitchens or areas near traffic or with pets, they may need attention more frequently.
 
“Are your cleaning products safe for pets and children?”
By using specialised equipment and procedures, we are able minimise the use of chemicals in our cleaning process.
Any chemicals that are used are household grade, are highly diluted, and the rinsing process should eliminate any residue.
 
“Do you offer discounts for larger jobs?”

We can tackle most types of window coverings for example roman blinds, venetian blinds, honeycomb blinds, roller blinds, smaller awnings and shutters, and of course curtains.

There may be someone out there who will drop in to your premises and give your blinds a quick vacuum and rub down for less than we would charge to do a more thorough job, but the results will not be the same.
